I started VDO, an animation and branding studio, in 1987, after more than 15 years as a broadcast designer and design director for TV networks and affiliates including Turner, WXIA, WSB and WFLA. VDO created and produced on air looks for clients like CNN, HBO, Cinemax, The Weather Channel, AMC, VS. Network, CNN IBN India and hundreds of other clients worldwide. Last year I closed the animation studio and picked up a paint brush for the first time in 35 years. I am drawing and painting everyday and loving every minute.

I was class President my Senior year. I was called to a meeting at the Dean's house on a Sunday evening, an "emergency meeting". The Dean, Ms. Foster and several other staff members and class officers were present. I became a bit confused and bewildered as the Dean expressed his concerns that the students might errupt into some kind of a spontanious violent protest and do some kind of damage to them and the building. I thought throughout the Dean's presentation that someone had a loose grip on reality and it wasn't me.
